Epic Universe
Epic Universe Wait Times in Review: July 2026
A data-centric breakdown of when wait times peak, which days of the week have the lowest waits, and which rides are a risky bet during EPA, all from 52,489 wait-time readings.

Lines peak around noon, then fall all day
The median standby wait climbs from about 15 minutes in the first hour to a 50-minute peak around 11 AM–12 PM, then eases to about 25 after 7 PM. Midday runs roughly 1.8x the evening. The park median held at 35 minutes, unchanged from June. Starting July 26, Early Park Admission moved an hour earlier, to 8 AM.
The first hour and the last two hours still have the lowest wait times.
Weekends had the lowest waits

Saturday and Sunday ran a 30-minute median against 40 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The calmest day of the whole month was, surprisingly, July 4 (median 20).
Attraction uptime

Uptime is the share of time a ride was operating during park hours, with downtime split between weather and everything else. Mine-Cart Madness was again the least reliable ride (76%, about level with June’s 75%). Weather delays hit on 17 of 31 days, about the same share of readings as June.
The EPA gamble, ranked

Battle at the Ministry stayed the riskiest EPA bet at 32% of mornings, and when it went down, it stayed down longest (67-minute average delay). Hiccup’s Wing Gliders deteriorated sharply: a delay on 9 of 31 EPA mornings (29%, up from 13% in June and 10% in May), all mechanical and mostly right at rope drop. Curse of the Werewolf mostly sat out EPA in July, so it isn’t ranked.
